For the past nine months, I have been running a habit-building and accountability tool called Sisyphi. Hundreds of people have since joined the community and used this tool. People have built routines, become early risers, disciplined writers, healthy exerciser, and hungry learners using Sisyphi.
Today, I am happy to make these announcements:
Sisyphi is now DareMe.
What’s in a name? Everything! I named the product Sisyphi based on the Greek mythology figure Sisyphus. While it’s a great story with a twist on its meaning, there was a problem - people can’t pronounce it.
Now, for DareMe, I bet everyone can pronounce it. Moreover, some of you might be even familiar with this name. That’s right! Once upon a time, I built a mobile app using this name. Now, the name and spirit of the old DareMe has been resurrected! It’s coming back with full force.
You can visit here.
What stays the same:
The underlying mechanism of Sisyphi hasn’t changed. It is still a tool that goes like this:
You pick an activity goal (dare) you’d like to do for 28 days (e.g., getting up before 6 am, writing daily, reaching out to someone you admire, etc.)
You set a level you want to accomplish within those 28 days (e.g., 22 out of 28 days, etc.)
Every day, you text me and my team after you did the dare.
My team will track your progress daily using a spreadsheet and let you know if you are on track.
You will also join my Slack group to join the community of other Dare takers for inspiration and encouragement.
What’s different:
Here is a big difference: DareMe is no longer just about routines and habits; it’s about achieving your goals. Any goals!
Over the past ten years, through research and personal experience, I have discovered that the best way to achieve any big, ambitious, and complex result is to routinize it into the same action you can take daily. Instead of focusing on future results, you focus on achieving that daily action. In fact, the daily actions become your goal. I call these actions the One Action Goal.
For example:
Your desired outcome - publishing a bestselling book
One Action Goal - writing for 1,000 hours for 365 days
Your desired outcome - finding a new job
One Action Goal - networking with 50 people for 60 days
Your desired outcome - losing 15 pounds
One Action Goal - exercising for 50 hours for 100 days
Your desired outcome - becoming a better parent and building a great relationship with your kid
One Action Goal - spending 300 hours of quality time with your kid for 365 days
Now, these One Action Goals aren’t set in stone, and based on your style and emphasis, different One Action Goals can be set.
For example, your One Action Goal for losing 15 pounds could be - no food between 8 pm and 8 am for 80 out of 100 days.
DareMe is the tool to help you achieve your big, ambitious, and complex outcome through doing One Action Goals.
In fact, before you participate in any of these goals, you can tell me your desired outcomes, and I will suggest your One Action Goal(s).

Love the new name! Definitely has the spirit behind it and much easier to spell correctly.
I must say I sometimes misread it as "syphilis"😅 Anyway, I'm signing up Dare Me to Rise Early, let's crush this last quarter of the year!
