One Week to Launch

During the party, I will read you my favorite passage of the book, share behind-the-scenes stories of how I generate ideas, and offer insights on developing a writing and speaking career. I will also share one of the biggest findings I’ve discovered AFTER writing the book.

Updates

I have been off for the past month doing a lot of things: family reunion in Asia, the World Series of Poker, and watching the World Cup (more on that tomorrow).

But more importantly, I’ve been promoting the book like crazy. It wasn’t easy. In fact, I had lots of rough moments and took lots of hits. For example, a deal with a famous tech company for 1,500 copies fell through. It felt like missing a penalty kick in the World Cup, then learning your home has been ransacked on the flight back.

Yet, there is good news. I got on a bunch of podcasts: The Art of Manliness, Mentally Stronger, Something You Should Know, and many others. They will come out next week.

Moreover, Easy Discipline made The Next Big Idea Club’s must-read list for July 2026, curated by Malcolm Gladwell, Susan Cain, Daniel Pink, and Adam Grant, four of my favorite authors.

And the audiobook version was selected as an Audible Editor’s Select for July!

The Wall

Now, the wall. It stands at 2,377. That’s more than four times what Rejection Proof had at the same point. But it’s also 7,623 short of my goal. That’s the curse of a big ambition, and I knew it when I chose the number.

But it’s not over yet. I still have one week until publication day, and two weeks until the end of the campaign. We are firing on all cylinders and trying everything possible.

And in a couple of days, I am going to try something even crazier. Stay tuned!
